Where am I, and how far will I travel?

I’m in the rural Wiltshire village of Bedwyn, roughly half way between Reading and Bath.

My policy on travelling distance is connected to my guarantee. For local repairs, meaning anywhere up to 90 minutes’ driving time from here, I provide a 12 months parts and labour guarantee.

I usually decline longer distance distance visits (more than 90 minutes each way), especially into London, but if you are not London and you’re close to good road links I can perhaps still visit, subject to a parts-only guarantee. This means that should any return visit be necessary, for any reason at all, it will be on a labour-chargeable basis, even though I’ll perhaps be replacing the part itself under guarantee.

I get a significant number of requests for me to travel surprisingly long distances from people keen to avoid the cost and upheaval of a new boiler. I usually decline these but if my parts-only guarantee is acceptable, I’m happy to make a trip to repair yours.

Alternatively if you have a local technician you trust, I’m happy to help and advise them with your repair by text if they require it.

Oh and one last thing. If you’re in a town or city centre, I’ll need there to be a guaranteed parking space available for my van please.
